Pros

I loved my team, my co-workers, and my job. Just did not agree with with some of the call metrics that we are expected to meet as i do not feel they are realistic for the calls we are taking

Cons

Do not agree with there PIP .I believe it is a way to weed employees out and do not feel that the standards set are realistic for job duties. I do not feel that it was explained in training that technically after a three month period that was supposed to be a ramp up period...if any call metric in that ramp up period was not being met....would be used against you on that fourth month(the first month that you are not in RAMP up period. So if you were not meeting goal during the RAMP up for two months and then your first month out of RAMP up you dont make goal...your placed on a PIP ...for 6 months and any call metric not met during that 6 months ..whether it is the one you originally did not meet...or any other metric..you get fired! Then we are expected to make hold time and talk times that are not even realistic due to the calls that we deal with. Feel it is just a way for Humana to weed people out.

Pros

Good PTO benefits, accrued 7 hours of PTO every 2 weeks Nice work life balance working from home Great culture overall

Cons

Management is everything. Your experience will be highly influenced by what supervisor you have and what team you’re on. I was switched to a new team after working in the role for about a year and a half. My experience with the new team was a totally different experience than what I had gotten used to. Suddenly the way I did everything was wrong and I had to basically relearn my role. I was micromanaged and eventually got burnt out. I didn’t get much support from my new supervisor and ended up getting fired for something I didn’t realize I was doing wrong because there were no warnings or coaching regarding the issue beforehand. I really loved the first team I was on and had a great supervisor at first. I’d still be working there if they hadn’t switched me to another team.
