OMG. More than I can count. They feel it is their personal mission to treat all employees in a patronizing and invasive manner in that they not only think what you do in your off time is their business, but also every aspect of your health and how you live, as well as taking control of your finances and refusing to give it back. It literally has made me sick. It is NOT an employer role to deduct money from your paycheck due to health issues of any kind, nor it is their role to make financial decisions without your knowledge that result in money coming out of your check. This is combined with some of the worst health insurance coverage for employees ever -- no acupuncture, mental health with deductibles so high it's pointless and so on.
My dog literally has better insurance and better health care than I do.
They have "Humana Values" none of which are followed by the management. It filled with white, rich, ignorant males and virtually no persons of color or women in power.
Where there is simplicity and obvious answers, they make a point of creating chaos and confusion.
They are very strangely fixated on only negative feedback and endless lectures about corporate culture that is unique to Kentucky and Humana only, totally undefined and expect you to predict how other people react to things out of your control and unknown.
If you sign up, expect never to hear a positive word, lots of stress and frustration and be in a constant state of angst. I really could not hate it more. Thank God, Aetna will take over soon.
