Pros

Work from home, and the Medical benefits that start on day 1, that's really all.

Cons

Very low pay for the insurance industry, and very low pay for my CA location. They are paying newly licensed people without any experience more than existing sales agents by about $3-5 dollars per hour in lower cost of living states. Their recruiter lied to me about how much I would make, by about$20,000. Regulations are extreme. Position expectations are not in line with income. They push you hard during the annual enrollment period to work horrendous overtime hours to hit their goals, and make them all the money. Humana Inc. is so unfair to their licensed insurance agents that I welcome any Union to come in and fully represent the Sales agent workers who generate income for this company. Also, it's clear that Humana values their share holders more than their employees.

Pros

Humana is a great company with a lot of opportunities. They have really good tools that are focused on the employee's well-being. This position is very dynamic, analysis and independence are required.

Cons

From the other side, I have great coworkers, but there's others that are above you and the treatment is not very good. They don't give the tools necessary to do the job fast and correct, like they expect you to.
