Pros

The flexible work schedule is the only positive.

Cons

This department is full of chaos. They favor employees who look like them, hence all the African Americans on my team were fired. The metrics are not reasonable so its near impossible to meet metrics and if you miss a metric one time you are coached no warnings and most of the dept was on pips. The amount of work they require you to do is insane and they are very rude when deadlines are not met for email responses. The leaders are constantly giving coachings and pips but do not actually help. They will fudge your metrics and they are never accurate. Management has no idea how to run this dept effectively and never listen to their employees. Due to wfh mgmt constantly gives you excess work thinking you have the time when you are already overloaded with work/

Pros

Pay is decent, a few good people. WFH is a bonus. Pto is generous. Your gonna need it!!

Cons

Not sure why someone said health benefits are good unless you enjoy extremely high max and deductibles. Once you become obese during aep you will need those benefits. AEP goals are unattainable unless you sit on your computer 24 hours a day 7 days a week and wreck your health. Your a number to them and so are the members they serve. You will NOT make goal unless you have a buddy or a relative that works there. Work life balance is non existent. If you try to have one you will suffer the consequences. "Set up to fail". The game is rigged and thats all there is to it. Ive never seen such terrible people in one work place and I worked at a prison! Low class, toxic people and the managers, good god they are definitely chosen through a buddy system. Humana is on a downward spiral, and it's their own doing. If you do chose to work here anyway (pry got hired through referral) keep your sanity and don't drink the aep koolaid. Besides the medicare landscape will be changing in the future. It won't be the wild wild west in the near future anymore. Meaning don't get to comfortable with those aep gains.

Pros

This is your typical sales job…you’re either gonna do great and make over 100k a year (most of us in the top tier do well over that) or you’re gonna sink and make less than half that…take advantage of the OT and get the sales and you’re in the green. This is not hard but theirs is a lot of red tape so you have to know your Medicare stuff to be compliant…they listen to all your calls and one small mess up and job is on the line.

Cons

I wish they would stop hiring new folks….less calls for us /aka less money for the tenure reps.
