Pros

Mostly freindly management and co-workers. They treat temps like actual employees and not as "lesser" temporary workers. Stable and organized work enviroment.

Cons

Would have been a great company to work for if the management actually researched co-worker issues rather than just terminating people based entirely on hersay and false alegations. A co-worker was allowed throw around false alegations behind my back and rather than investigating it, they just terminated me. Poor executed investigations into facts and poor employee safe guards against back stabbing type alegations. Management is very one sided and has even make sexist comments.

Pros

Within the irrigation industry, Hunter is the holy grail. Hunter hires and retains the best of the combined industries of plastic molding, manufacturing, and irrigation with the promise of becoming part of the Hunter family. If working with competent, caring, and ethical people matter, Hunter is what you are looking for in a career.

Cons

Limited advancement only because there are very few vacancies. With such a family atmosphere, going beyond what is expected...is expected.

Pros

Hunter is committed to 100% customer satisfaction. From the very top, all the way through the management chain everyone is open, accessible and interested in opinions for the field. I can, and have, reached out to virtually every product manager, marketing manager and even the CEO with requests, issues and ideas, and have found an "open door" to my input.... a VERY valuable "perk" to a field sales rep directly answering to our contractor customers. Hunter has amazing programs and employment benefits, and for the last 12 years of employment, I can honestly say I have never had a moment to question any policies, actions, requests or procedures that I felt were not fair to either employees or our customers. Hunter is VERY forward thinking and in my opinion, has nowhere to go but "up" in the Irrigation Manufacturing Business. I work with an extremely seasoned, credentialed group of territory managers who not only know the business from the ground-up, but will jump in at any request for local support to cover an event, or support a situation that is out of my wheel-house. I am thrilled to write a recommendation for Hunter Industries, I enjoy working to support a product I believe in, AND has the support of every person in the management chain.

Cons

I have nothing negative to say about Hunter Industries
