People, People, People. Hunitingtion national bank truly does care about it's employees. I have only been with the company for 3 years, but in that short period of time it obvious that this is where their focus lies. They truly believe this is the best way to succeen in today's economy. Word of mouth businees is making a come back and Huntington National Bank is leading the charge. If only other sectors of industry to come to realize this, i think the economy would make a much faster turn around. Instead most just focus on their bottom line, instead of people.

It not nationwide, so leaves only so much room for growth

Pros

Promotion from within is consistent and jobs are routinely available. The applying process is easy to use and there is typically constant communication through HR. Those that perform are rewarded. There are some great managers/leaders and there are some managers that need coaching to become leaders.

Cons

Some managers don't promote the best interest of their employees. Top management should be more involved with their management teams to hold them accountable. Reviews are one-sided and may include inaccurate information that can't be disputed.
