Pros
Genuine retail employees that work hard
Cons
The sale pressure that Huntington puts on their employees is unbearable. They cut incentive pay for some sales positions. They then lower the ways to make revenue making it almost impossible to be successful. If you don’t hit your goals you can be reprimanded or fired. If your service scores are too low, you can be fired. The teller salary went from $10/hour to $16/hour in 2 years. Managers and sales team can only increase IF you’re eligible for a merit increase (by hitting unrealistic goals) and then that is only a recommend 1.5%. They ask for your input annually with the “Voice Survey” but guess what? They’ll do one good thing and act like a hero (example, allowing the teller staff to have 2 chairs behind the line, but having 6 tellers that doesn’t accommodate everyone). There is no incentive for longevity as new hires get paid more than long-term employees. The only thing they seem to want is a good public image.
