      Not enough quality time with students

      Pros

      Got to help some of underachieving students make huge strides in their education foundation. Felt very happy to be part of the lives of so many families, wish I could of helped more. If parents had seen and understood the importance of grades in our society, I could of made a real impact in many more lives.

      Cons

      Hours are ridiculous, give your staff a break. Cost of tutoring, our SAT and ACT students feel like they don't have to do any of the work, it should all just come to them since their parents paid the money. For our students that had some disabilities, I wish I was able to have more time to work with them and make more educational gains.

      Pros

      Students and teachers are what make working there worth it. Other than that nothing at all will make me want to stay here. Very high turn over allows those who are interested opportunity at full time positions.

      Cons

      This is a terrible organization run by franchise owners that have no experience in education and no business sense -- it is completely about the money. Pay is very little for what is expected, particularly when full time staff works from 7 am till 10 pm and expected to come in on their day off. There is no vacation days and no benefits with full time employment. If you take employment at any of the centers -- really think long and hard whether this is the right choice for you. Very high turn over because owner lies and cheats. It is quite embarrassing to get eviction notices constantly and utilities being turned off. Many services we are charging for are not being provided.
