Low pay, no benefits of any kind, its all about the money not the kids, being an accomplice to deceptive practices, bad management (including yelling at teachers in front of students), out-of-date curriculum, bad corporate policies, teaching a poor quality program.

Low pay, high expectations with no training, asked to tutor multiple children at once, lack of support. I was promised the position of Assistant Director, and then they fired me after one month of work citing I was not “meeting their expectations.” I’ve been a teacher for 18 years. They did not provide enough training, they did not observe me tutoring any students, and they did not explain what they meant by “not meeting expectations.” Furthermore, students who came in scheduled for a one on one tutoring session were grouped together with other students. Parents were never told about this. If I was a parent, paying for one on one instruction, and found out that my student was actually being tutored in a group setting, I would be extremely upset! Management needs to do better!
