Not worth my time

Pros

The process Huntington uses to tutor students is like following a recipe, therefore, the job was very easy.

Cons

The center was unorganized. Very often you could not find the textbook or answer key you needed to use to work with a student quickly, or easily. Sometimes they were assigned a book that was no longer used at the center, or was not an appropriate grade level for the student. This wasted time during a student's session. The management at my center was unorganized. For example, I was never given a code to the time clock. It seemed that only half the people working at the center used the time clock. The other half were told to use a sign in sheet. This led to frequent problems with my pay checks being short hours and more than once I did not even receive a check for an entire pay period! Now, after quitting I am having trouble collecting pay owed. Management was not good about notifying employees of mandatory staff meetings, I was once notified an hour before a meeting. I had to call multiple times to try and get a hold of someone to be given my scheduled hours for the next week. The schedule was usually completed on the weekend. So you would know by Saturday or Sunday if you had to work on Monday. With all the problems caused by the lack of organization of management, I've had to spend much of my own time advocating for myself and this job was not worth my time.

Simply Terrible

Pros

Not sure that I can think of any other than working with the kids.

Cons

Extremely long hours expected Ethically this company takes simple needs for tutoring to a financed loan. The cost is insane. The testing is unethical.
