They say the right things - diversity is important, career opportunities exist, you'll be paid fairly, but none of this is true. Internal processes are lacking, favoritism and nepotism determines promotions, and raises are embarrassing. Do your research. Run don't walk .

Cons

The pace of work is very fast and it's challenging to keep up. Also, the matrix organization of a consulting firm can make it hard to figure out boundaries/role since you don't have a single manager.
