Pros

advancement and movement is based on meritocracy and dedication: A dedicated and knowledgeable employee is identified and provided with responsibilites and opportunities for advancement within the company. Movement within the organization is encouraged innovative ideas are allowed at work: Improvement in engineering or administrative procedures are encouraged independence at work: employees are free to complete projects in a time frame they see fit and also have options in how to execute their projects as long as deadlines are met

Cons

not a risk taking company : Husky is not a very risk taking company and takes its project failures too seriously. They often replace employees who have not performed upto expectations. limited opportunities for professional growth: while courses are routinely offered to employees the company limits it to a certain fixed amount. Most courses are also technical in nature, setting aside the development of employee's soft skills Poor document control: Documents often get lost in a mire of online documentation that is often not updated or poorly organized. Locations of important files or programs are also not known to every one Constant change in operating procedures: operating procedures change regularly leading employees and contractors to confusion
