      The culture appears to be supportive but actually it is all about profit. Don't be fooled by the wrapping of the package. People are really not important. Making money is all that matters at Hyland any more.

      Pros

      Very comfortable job. Employees tend to be kind to each other. Performance expectations are low. Progression happens automatically. A few times a year, there is free food or beer at headquarters.

      Cons

      Top talent seems to be leaving constantly. Compensation is unjustifiably low. Exceptional productivity is never rewarded; the time you spend matters more than results achieved. Little/no transparency. Chronically "behind-the-times" on technology and engineering practices. This is a sales company, not a tech company.
