Pros

Hyland is a great place to work if you are just out of college and need work experience. Many bright people are working at Hyland, and they are all willing to share knowledge and coach new people. Hyland is growing fast through organic and acquisition growth. The growth has led to many openings for career growth. Hyland allows people to work from home and provides reasonably up-to-date equipment. This is a must in the post-pandemic world. Hyland's products are best-in-class. You can feel proud about creating a good product.

Cons

Many managers have some technical skills but lack the management acumen to lead teams and grow employees. Hyland let go a good number of employees and that destroyed loyalty and morale. Hyland has good and bad departments. Many support departments have poor leadership and unhappy employees. Hyland's internal systems and technology department need an overhaul. Employees are leaving for better pay and to leave the small number of bad bosses.

Pros

Great benefits including time off and flexibility. Co-workers are great to work with.

Cons

Recent reduction in force. Long term job security is in question. Software work is being moved non-domestically (non U.S. jobs).

Pros

-This is a good place to start a career. -Good vacation days+ "flex days" -Sabbatical program -Tuition reinbursement (about 80% of MBA cost covered) -Work from home

Cons

-The culture that we advertise isn't reality. -It's common to not be able to take a lunch break because of pressure from management. -Leadership lack diversity and basic public speaking skills. -Jobs were recently outsourced to save costs. - The CEO did address the company in saying that no more layouffs are planned, however no job is "reserved for an American" which is a rather threatening statement. -It's rare to see much growth within a role once hired.
