Pros

Exposure to different aspects of retail industry. Great place to put your organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills to the test.

Cons

Fast paced that from the beginning you either sink or swim. Lack of communication between project leaders in regards to staffing. Lack of structure when onboarding new employees. Expectations not clearly mentioned. Absurd expectations to know Revit when their software managers/IT don't get involved with new employees.

Awesome projects, lots of opportunities as a young professional. Travel opportunities since several clients are global clients of IA. You will get a lot of good experience very quickly. The people and culture at IA are great. All the offices are very connected through technology. You can easily communicate through link and there is a company wide internal "facebook" page.

Cons

Not enough mentoring, training, and guidance for younger staff. Often given unrealistic deadlines that cannot be met without working until 11pm and weekends. DC is very top and bottom heaving. There is not a lot of mid level staff to give direction to younger staff. High level staff does not have the time to give needed direction and become frustrated easily.
