Pros

Got hired to wfh early quarantine. Its good work with good people and I get to help people get rebates to help pay for higher efficiency home have systems effectively saving money to save the world.

Cons

First annual review this week got me glowing reviews and effusive praise and 4% raise, half of annual inflation rate. They thanked me for going above and beyond, outside my job description, and just didn't think they should show thanks fiscally.

Lovely coworkers Array of contracts Work that aims to improve the world we live in

Cons

Pay is abysmal, especially for the DC area. You will barely be able to slide by. Expect to watch new hires come in with fewer years of experience at higher salaries than yours. Turnover is insane - higher than I've seen at any other position I've held. Upper management does not care about junior staff in the slightest and persistent understaffing leads to cyclical burnout and boredom.
