Pros

Positive work culture Great colleagues Supportive Leadership

Cons

Benefits are below standards compared to other companies with ICF offering small HSA contributions, bare minimum 401k contributions, lowering the reimbursement for cell phone and internet expenses, and yearly salary increases are “set” with small incremental percentages, and other short cuts that compensate employees such as no longer providing printers and ink cartridges, no more annual Starbucks gift cards, etc.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. ICF annually audits our benefit offerings like HSAs, based on employee feedback and competitive benchmarks. When it comes to 401(k), the industry standard is a match up to 3%, 50 cents on the dollar. ICF exceeds the standard by matching contributions at 100% for the first 3% and 50% of the next 2% and employees are vested on day 1. Regarding compensation, we audit that yearly too to ensure we are fair and competitive. As we are in the business of negotiating contracts with our clients and selecting projects based on our values, salaries can depend on the budget of the client and assignments. When it comes to career growth, have this conversation in your impact conversations with your manager. Our career guides on the intranet are a good resource to this topic too. And our partnership with Bright Horizons has childcare benefits that you may find helpful. -AP

Thank you for your review and the 4-star rating. Employees’ expectations of employers continually evolve, so we seek regular feedback from our teams through a variety of channels. Employees value meaningful and challenging work, flexibility and balance in their lives, transparency from leadership, and opportunities for career growth. This helps us evolve what we offer. We also encourage employees to take part in quarterly impact conversations, a two-way discussion where they can discuss real-time challenges and opportunities with their manager. --- SS
