Was a Good company then they had a change in a VP role
Pros
The product is well thought out, and well-executed. There are currently great people working there. The software is stable due to excellent QA practices, and developer/ QA collaboration. Now owned by GBG which means the company has better benefits and more PTO time.
Cons
1. Wrong people were placed in the top management positions above director. These people believe they know what they are doing but if you look at the time issues started with releases along with decisions made which are recorded in chat you can easily see who is responsible for release issues. 2. Same people are quick to blame others for their mistakes or cover up friend's mistakes even when they fail in the manual stages of testing. 3. CEO is a great person but is following the old CEOs habits of believing the employees should be thankful for a job. the CEO should be concerned over release issues but should actually track down the legitimate causes and not tell people they just have to get along. 4. Some people in the upper management think they are special and have threatened to often leave the job if they don't get their way. Instead of pushing these people out, they are promoted into positions they are unqualified for. 4. Bad reviews are often met by telling employees they need to create good reviews to cover up the bad ones. Bad reviews are discussed in the weekly standup where they state that they need people to put in good reviews to cover the bad ones, and then say they will deal with the reviewer if they find out who it is
