      Its Not great but its work

      Pros

      Good schedules, lots of overtime, and great benefits.

      Cons

      Calls are mostly angry people, and non stop. Breaks are only 15 minutes and the bathrooms are far away so you dont really feel like you got a break. They are strict on the breaks. No morale in the work place. There is not enough diversity among the hired pool of people.

      Great Company

      Pros

      I enjoy working with my assigned providers, and even when doing coverage for other providers most have been awesome to work with. You will never stop learning, so if you like to learn new things about the field of medicine this job is for you. Working from home is a plus and I enjoy my schedule. I have not had a bad experience since I have been with the company. I can compare this to my previous time working as a scribe in a local hospital. IKS Health is a much better fit for me and providers are nicer. My supervisor, performance coaches, and operation leads are very kind and supportive. They are also responsive and seem to really want to help. I was unable to work for 3 weeks in October of 2024 due to being impacted by Hurricane Helene. Managers were very supportive and understanding during that horrific time and I truly appreciate it. My fellow scribe co-workers are overwhelmingly nice and supportive. There is usually opportunities to pick up shifts if you need them. Health insurance is offered and 401K. We get PTO/Holiday PTO

      Cons

      My only con is that I would like to earn a bit more money. I know that most people start scribing to get experience on their college resumes so the pay may not be an issue for them, but I have been scribing full-time and it is my only source of income. I intend to stay with the company long-term because of all of the good I mentioned and because this type of remote work has been a good fit for my mental health. I just would like more compensation.

      Able to grow in the company and the schedules are somewhat flexible.

      Cons

      The pay could be better and the company could allow more grace for when the schools are closed .
