Pros

Medical Benefits and half day Fridays

Cons

Decisions are made from their Midwest corporate office, with narrow minded digging and clawing at each other. Very depressed work environment. Must pay for upper management title by having to invest in stocks that are probably worthless. Many had to take personal loans to but $100,000 of stocks to get a title.

Pros

Decent training program with a lot of opportunities to learn. Good resources and thorough review of all projects. The office is nice and good technology as well.

Cons

You are a workhorse without much value to their employees. It is a very rigid work structure and you are scrutinized big time. They have a lockdown on the internet during workhours so it's very difficult to get personal things done between 8am-5pm.

Pros

Half days on Friday (8-12)

Cons

IMEG purchasing my former employer (TTG) was the beginning of the end. Corporate headquarters is nearly 2000 miles away yet we have absolutely no autonomy. Even the smallest changes have to be vetted by folks who have never set foot in our offices. The company used to feel like a family, now it feels soulless. The compensation is not competitive and raises are meager unless you complain and/or threaten to quit. There is no 401k, only an ESOP with approx. 5% of annual salary contributions. Which means your nest egg is tied to company performance. That's fine if you are the CEO but not OK for rank and file employees. Benefits (excluding the ESOP) are otherwise standard but perks are non-existent, unless you count free coffee and water? COVID-19 was the wake up call that corporate management has no idea what they are doing and cares nothing for it's employees other than as drivers of profit. As early as late April/May despite having a very robust remote work setup we were already being told to come back in...this was not optional. As if that wasn't enough management has stubbornly pushed forward with an office renovation that will remove all offices and create an "open office" environment. You read that right folks, management wants to push people closer together when social distancing is in full effect. To add insult to injury, the CEO (who maintains an additional, unused, office at our location, which is not slated for demolition) broadcasts quarterly updates from his very plush office at corporate HQ. I guess what's good for the goose isn't good for the gander.
