A good company to work for!

Pros

IMRI is a good company and the hard work that you put in won't go unnoticed. Co-workers are extremely friendly and do what they can to help you if you ask for it. My managers are transparent and do not point fingers if mistakes are made. Instead, they try to work with you to figure out how to improve processes to ensure that these mistakes aren't repeated. The employee package (healthcare, vision, dental, 401k, PTO) is fair/reasonable.

Cons

I would not change anything on my end. I am quite happy here.

Pros

You are offered tools and resources to do your job.

Cons

This company prides itself on being a disabled veteran women owned business but whats not disclosed is its also a family business. On the surface there are attempts to create a positive work environment but there is extreme bias and nepotism. Those with power favor relatives or friends, give them jobs and neglect a lot of their poor performance. At the same time there is a huge turn over rate, very quick to hire, dump workload on new employees, and fire employees with little to no reason. The expectation and their standard on employees (non relatives or family friends) is unreasonable and impossible. Employees are belittled and often yelled at inappropriately. There is constant disrespect and disparaging among the team yet constant praising of management and CEO.

Toxic Environment

Pros

Employees are nice and the offices are comfortable, except you do feel like you're being micromanaged. There isn't much else I like about working here except leaving at the end of the day, bonus points if I wasn't belittled in front of my co-workers or had to stay late again.

Cons

There is constant fear of management blowing up at you over every little thing. And the need to stroke management's ego goes way too far. Endless meetings with so much petty time wasting information being shared over and over like you're a child. Too many work hours and weekend work expected because you waste so much time dealing with ego driven management.

As a small business, it is important for the IMRI team to collaborate and to provide quality services to our customers. We strive to hire self-starters who are knowledgeable in their respective field, and who can work well as a team-player and manage their workload with minimal supervision. IMRI is also able to provide a flexible work schedule for our employees, based on their individual circumstances. IMRI’s Management team values and respects each of our employees, and we take time to recognize our employees through our Employee Awards and Recognition Program, Bonus Programs, and by promoting within whenever possible. IMRI regrets that your experience for the last year at IMRI has not been positive. IMRI has an open-door policy with our employees to address any concerns with either Human Resources or any member of the management team, and we encourage you to utilize this open-door policy. It is our hope that with open communication with our employees, that we can continue to create an environment in which all of our employees enjoy their experience at the company!
