Pros

A few good peers. We leaned on each other to survive.

Cons

Incompetent/Lazy/Abusive/Controlling/Absent Info Sec leadership, responsible for the breach in 2023 and still sticking together to cover up each other's lies and lack of accountability as the threat was never fully addressed. Besties since college that work together to beat down other leaders and employees who don't play politics, kiss their royal hineys or who speak the truth in spite of their lies. Zero work-life balance. Miserable workplace. Leadership is clueless about how terrible it truly is and doesn't care about Info Sec. IT is absolute nightmare that never improves despite constant war rooms and opportunities to fix things. They just don't care. Leadership is incapable of getting organized and making decent decisions. There are millions of unaddressed vulnerabilities but actual numbers can't be reported to leadership because they don't want bad news and don't want things to look bad. Nevermind the likelihood of compromise. No one in leadership cares and would never accept accountability. They'll just use someone as a scapegoat if something bad happens, and stay in their positions of power to continue the cycle. They continue to spend millions on security tools but tie employees' hands to use the tools fully. And then, they reprimand, scold and complain when things aren't done. No one is safe from the under side of that bus. It's a high school rumor mill. Someone decides they don't like another person and suddenly finding out the dirt about whatever rumor has been created is leadership's top concern. Gossip is their bread and butter as well as playing employees against one another. Nevermind the security issues, meetings or other duties. Way too busy with juvenile activities, making up lies about employees and plotting against other leaders to do any actual work. Oh and vacation! Can't forget the endless PTO that leadership gets to enjoy. Fraudulent time keeping and falisfying HR documents on the regular while everyone waits on approvals, communications and decisions to be made. Info Sec stays stuck in limbo because they are never available to work or help. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. This company doesn’t just fail its employees—it actively works against them. The culture is rooted in intimidation and fear, where bullying isn’t the exception, it’s the norm. Leadership doesn’t lead; they manipulate, deflect, and rewrite reality to protect themselves. Specifically, Info Sec leadership. Employees who speak up about real issues are quickly labeled as “problems” and pushed out the door. Retaliation here is not subtle—it’s strategic. Raise a concern, and suddenly your performance is questioned, your credibility is attacked, and your job is on the line. Truth is treated like a threat instead of an opportunity to improve. HR does not care and will not help. What’s even worse is the constant gaslighting. Situations are twisted, conversations are denied, and accountability is nonexistent. You’ll find yourself second-guessing things you know happened because leadership is so committed to maintaining their narrative at any cost. Trust doesn’t exist here. Transparency is a joke. And integrity? Completely absent. If you value your mental health, your professional reputation, or even basic respect, stay far away. This is not a workplace—it’s a toxic environment where honesty is punished and dysfunction is protected.
