INTEGRIS Does Not Care About Employees

Pros

It's a healthcare company and as an employee (or "caregiver") I have the opportunity to help people; some during the worst part of their lives. How can you not take pride in that?

Cons

INTEGRIS has struggled to make money the past few years so a "turnaround" was, without a doubt, necessary. However, the approach the new executive leadership has taken so far is shameful. Leadership, Tim Pehrson, does not care about the people. We had a reduction in force back in August, where 171 people lost their jobs. Many of the cuts were done without any questions asked. Don't you think, Mr. Pehrson, it would have been a good idea to ask about the ramifications some of these cuts would have? Some of these cuts eliminated crucial touchpoints with our customers and put undue stress on those "caregivers" left behind. INTEGRIS is not the company it once was. Our "Values" of Love, Learn, and Lead are nothing but ancient history. How can anyone take pride in their employer when they fear losing their job every day? I cannot recommend this place to anyone at the moment. Some day the tide will turn, hopefully.

Pros

I passionately love the patients.

Cons

Upper management from the new President down are seemingly out to destroy any thing good. Managers are in so many required meetings they have no time for employees below them. New President’s “game plan” may work on his resume, but in reality he is causing anxiety and stress on everyone below him. Something is wrong with his brain. I do not know how in the name of God the Integris Board voted him in. This place is being destroyed with a smile and positive words.
