Japanese and American interests could lead to a more progressive future. Some good people outside senior management who will and do step up

Cons

UK operation is short term and parochial, not looking to move forward, but remain both in the shadows and untroubled. Minimalist and comfortable when not under too much pressure or scrutiny from Japan.
