Toxic culture

Pros

Pay, ability to travel with role. London office is nice with free food but not enough seats.

Cons

From the very top down the culture is incredibly toxic. UK Management is incompetent and staff are bullied and broken down until they quit or are forced to leave. HR is a joke, one person in particular is a major source of the problem in the UK. Pipeline is terrible with no prospects.

Pros

Ipsen uses both virtual and face-to-face interviews to get to know candidates. The process was transparent, 2-step and accompanied by a recruiter. It is important to the company that new employees are both professionally competent and compatible with the existing team. This was also openly communicated from the outset, that team spirit and mutual support to achieve common goals is of great importance. The working atmosphere is open and cordial and people help each other across departments without ifs and buts. This is particularly helpful during the onboarding process when you don't always know the right person to talk to. During the onboarding process, you are assigned a buddy who helps you find your way around and familiarize yourself with the areas and who you initially accompany on visits.

Cons

In terms of subject-specific topics, onboarding takes place entirely via online courses or simply reading materials, which is not always ideal as there is a lack of exchange.

Pros

Pipeline is evolving with new products and line extensions

Cons

Being a medium sized company can bring challenges with an evolving pipeline. There is an expectation that you can launch new products and maintain and grow current business with very little investment in additional headcount
