Equipment - you won't get a new laptop unless yours completely dies. Good luck developing on a 5 year old machine. (even older for some) Salary Everyone that i know left because of the salary lacking behind average market rate. You will start on a good wage, however this will easily fall behind market rate after years of getting under 2% pay rises. Offshoring The company's hiring strategy has increasingly focused on recruiting outside of the UK. This shift has tangible impacts on team dynamics and the feasibility of in-person social events, which now seem to be more frequent for sales teams or in locations outside of the UK. Progression Opportunities for advancement appear to be highly dependent on the specific product team one is part of. Almost as if each product team operates like a distinct entity within Iris.
