Pros

I can work from home

Cons

Not enough work, CEO just took away our vacation and we do not have any other benefits. No holiday pay, no STD, no LTD, no raises. Medical benefits are outrageous in cost. You read that right! NO vacation and you are expected to work on Holidays to meet your case requirement! They said they will pay you 10 days MINUS time at end of Year! You sit and hit a button all day hoping to catch a case and then have nothing to look forward too because ISG does not care about its employees. No ladders, no perks. Their was no reason to take away PTO time other than your greed. Now families cannot plan vacations, or even go on vacation because most people live paycheck to paycheck and now cannot count on a vacation paycheck. So if you want to sit at a desk at home for 7 days a week and hope you get work, with no PERKS or Benefits, come aboard.

Overall a good position

Pros

I'm not sure what issues otherss are having being a FirstLook Processor but my experience is great overall. I've had no issue with the training at all and have no idea how anyone in this department is micromanaged. You pretty much work your cases and hear from the manager if you have a question or need to fix something. When it's busy I can work when I want to and as much as I want to.

Cons

Do I have complaints? Sure, no job is perfect. The benefits could be better and the winter months were somewhat of a dogfight for cases, but this is a seasonal industry so it is what it is. Compared to the same position at other companies I make more than the standard $14-$16/hour and get to work from home, which I can't do at any of the other places that have this type of job. When the work is steady I'm averaging around $20/hour.

Bought out a perfectly good company with enough work for their employees and then laid them off after 1st quarter because they couldn't get work for them.
