A hapless organization.

Pros

Industry organization that, for better or worse, is still respected in some circles.

Cons

Little to no interdepartmental support. Everyone operates within their own department and there's very little communication and cooperation. Upper Management does NOT LISTEN to improvement ideas. There are "Directors" and everyone else is "Support" this translates into "the door is always closed, unless you are a Director". As a non-for-profit, they actually have no modernized ideas for offering value to their various Members and others. They are a tired organization still relying on what was once a good reputation in the industry. Professionally, a dead-end organization offering absolutely zero career growth. They can't handle your good ideas!

Pros

Remote, pay's ok, off between xmas eve and new year's day.

Cons

Money hungry, disingenuous people at the higher levels. Don't actually do anything to the betterment of the pharmaceutical industry. Not well financed and no long-term plans to become so.

No Direction

Pros

Decent Benefits; time off around the holidays; very competent lower level employees who are good at what they do. Keep the ship running forward..

Cons

This is the most directionless leadership group I have ever worked for. Strategic vision permeates from the top, and the top here has no clue. CEO is lost, wants to get involved in day-to-day decisions, but has no idea what his employees do, let alone how to direct them how to do it better.
