Pros

Not having to work on Saturdays is all I can come up with!

Cons

I was lied on by a supervisor who caused an hostile work environment for me...I reported this, but nothing was done. I work very hard and I have been commended by the clients, but I receive very little pay for the time and effort demonstrated. There is very little recognition by this company for service specialists and very litle growth. There is no incentive for STARS and Service Specialists. I have been with the company for about two years and the STARS are only a few pennies short of what I make. Site Managers are placed into position because they have knowledge of the working procedures and policies, but I have found that they immensely lack skills on how to manage people. There is a huge difference between micro and macro- management! There seems to be very little co-hesiveness with middle management and the needs that arises and are brought to attention. I have never met Mr. Blackman, but my guess is, he has no idea of the things that go on sometimes!

Most Unprofessional Company I Have Ever Experienced

-Good job for learning office equipment -The only positive part about this job for me was the actualy client. They showed me more than IST and my manager

Cons

-This company is filled with the most unprofessional management I have ever worked for. My specific site manager cut our hours to hide the fact that they were showing up late and leaving early. They also would tell us we were not allowed to do specific things such as use the computers for personal use and have our phones out but they would online shop, engage in social networking on the work PC's and use their cell phones at all hours they were at work. Our site supervisor would also constantly gossip about their IST Employees as well as the client! They would express their opinion so strongly that it was to the point the client had to say something to corporate, yet nothing was done...I complained on more than one occasion and everytime they said something would be done and changes would be made; nothing ever was. Aside from the terrible management the compensation is very low and employees constantly miss work without any notice what-so-ever with no repercussions. This is highly frustrating for a employee who comes to work everyday and works hard when they are there with no acknowledgement.

Pros

I like the job itself. I was actually surprised how much I did like it. Working in a mail room is a very social job. I met people that I would most likely not have met had I not been in that specific role.

Cons

The way situations are handled (not handled) at the regional level. I have no idea how anyone further up the ladder would have handled this, or if they would have handled it any different??? I sincerely hope that they would.
