Pros

Not many, if your lucky to get a good site then there might be some pros there but otherwise IST is not much to be said for. They have good hours, Mon thru Friday off by 5. And unpaid holidays off, whoopy.

Cons

Just about the whole company it seems. The terrible management seems to be a trend thru out the entire company from what I am reading. The upper management babies the middle management leaving employees to deal with incompetent and over paid managers. They have very poor training so if you are not acclimated to this type of work, good luck. Once your in management you are in a pretty solid job it seems but good luck getting there if you are not prepared to suck up just about 90% of the time. Then there is the salary, if you do not ask for a fare wage they will not give you one. Honestly don't go into this company expecting it to last, the technology is subpar, and they treat management like they are their children and disregard employees when they speak out. Its a temp job at best.

The work schedule is consistent and there are plenty of on-call assignments available.

Cons

Hourly wages are too low for the cost of living and the health care insurance benefits are NOT affordable

Pay more attention to your employees

Pros

The job itself is great, you meet great people in a variety of different professional settings depending what type of site your client has, you have the ability to learn how the client's company works from the inside, the possibility of promotion to a Site Manager or supervisor is very high if you take your job seriously.

Cons

The benefits are not that great and they are expensive. IST is a contracted company which forces their hand in that they cannot pay their employees very well since they have to keep their bids on the lower side to get contracts for employment, and I feel that I have hit the ceiling in this company after just three years. I run a site that is completely hands free for my Operations Manager and the client knows this and trusts me and the team with what we do. There is never a single issue and yet, there is hardly any praise. I doubt that the corporate really understands what we (the team at the site) do to keep IST in the good graces of the client.
