      There is such a thing as too much communication

      - Tasks are easy to accompish - Schedules are flexible - Site manager's appear to truly care about their direct reports

      Cons

      - Way too much repeated communication from CEO - Technical issues affect management ability to keep the site "out of the red", but always manager's take the blame

      Pros

      Excellent facility to work at, beautiful suburban campus. This just happened to be the case; IST had no control over that feature.

      Cons

      I was warmly welcomed aboard though I had little direct experience. The company and I both considered myself overeducated and overqualified. for the job, but I was winding down a long career and looking for something uncomplicated. I was promised direct supervisor training weekly, but received almost none. Company leadership seemed distracted, and feedback eventually included veiled threats of dismissal without clear explanation. No proactive leadership per se. The customer was very cold from day 1 and obviously did not want me on the job. Very little company support for me or my team, only disciplinary measures.

      If you get placed in a chill environment, you're fine and you do nothing

      Cons

      This is not an opportunity you take if you're trying to go up in life. They won't pay you enough, won't treat you kindly, and won't protect you from the organization you're placed in from taking advantage of your cheap labor.
