Pros
This company really takes care of their employees. I was hired to be a receptionist at the site, but I was quickly given a promotion. I get countless appreciation from the clients and IST. They recognize the hard work you put in and they always reward you. I feel secure in the workplace and it feels like I've been working here for countless years. I don't feel like I'll be stuck in one position my whole life, IST is excellent when it comes to allowing you to grow and move upwards within the company or even at the job site where you are placed. I don't think I've ever worked for a company that rewards me for my exemplary work ethics as much as IST does. I truly couldn't be happier.
Cons
IST can get better organized when it comes to cross training at different sites. I was immediately hired for a full time position so this was not my experience at all. But other employees have told me they feel overwhelmed with amount of cross training. No company is perfect, but even with the negative, I am a true example of how the majority of the employees feel about working for IST. The good definitely outweighs the bad. They've been so good at placing people at sites full time that they've actually run out of part time employees.
