      Limited Support and Misaligned Responsibilities

      Pros

      Working at the client site offers a professional atmosphere, and the on-site client team is generally supportive and appreciative of hard work. There is a degree of autonomy in managing daily site operations once you are settled in.

      Cons

      Lack of Training: Placed into a management role without adequate training or onboarding. Expected to figure out and create procedures and protocols on your own Role Clarity & Scope Creep: The job description does not match the day-to-day reality or general responsibility scopes. Compensation & Benefits:Pay is not competitive with the local cost of living. Company health benefits are difficult to access due to high premiums and deductibles, making them effectively unaffordable Limited Growth: There is little room for professional advancement or career growth.

      A Very Positive Experience Thus Far

      Pros

      So far, each and every supervisor I have come in contact with, seems to have one very important approach to their positions. The approach is one of "the only way I can succeed is for you to proceed". I know at first this may be hard to believe. It's always been hard to believe myself. This very well could be my first experience where this "approach" or "credo" of upper management actually comes to fruition. Help, advice and consultation from a variety of sources is always a phone call, text or email away. Just riding this "wave" and hoping it will last. I think it will.

      Cons

      Even though I have been in the customer service industry for 20+ years (most of which has centered around the support of people in the legal industry), I have only been with IST officially since 10/13/2026. That being said, so far, I honestly can't think of anything MAJOR in the form of negatives or "cons".
