      Pros

      - Everyone seemed professional at first meeting - Nice office in NC

      Cons

      - I lived out of state and accepted an offer to work with IXL, was set to move in the Friday before my start date, was told by email my job offer had been taken away the Wednesday before with no warning (2 days before I move in, 5 days before my start date). I couldn't get in touch with anyone to explain until the next day (1 day before I move in, 4 days before my start date).

      Pros

      Fantastic company culture, helpful and kind employees, modern and cozy office, collaborative environment, free food on occasion, opportunities to WFH.

      Cons

      Work expected of customer-facing teams (tech support, teacher memberships, account services etc.) is extremely repetitive and stagnant. Not much opportunity for growth in these departments.

      many young people to interact- great for new grads good location good first job good vacation/wfh policy friendly atmosphere

      Cons

      no interest in retention relatively cheap compensation micro managing too much from CEO/COO most managers do not fight just say yes and accept what higher ups say higher ups think designers are incompetent
