      Pros

      Some of the employees really care about students and the product is cheap. They are buying up companies like crazy. They can't grow any further on the quality of their core product so they are trying to do it through acqusition.

      Cons

      The founders lack basic interpersonal skills. They have no regard for their employees and no loyalty to people that have worked for them for years. They will discard you and the time and effort you put in to build their brand and they will do it on a whim.

      Wildly profitable for the two founders.

      Cons

      Well, if you pretend there isn't a pandemic, you'll eventually get sick and that's exactly what happened when sales managers flew to HQ from all around the country and sat in close quarters in conference rooms without wearing masks. Seven out of 11 of them returned home and tested positive for Covid, endangering others as they traveled across country.

      Pros

      The team of engineers, marketers, educators, and product managers...all of whom were fired at the height of a global pandemic.

      Cons

      Paul Mishkin and Jennifer Gu threw the staff of an entire company to the curb at the height of a global pandemic. I think those facts alone speak volumes as to the top-down, narcissistic leadership of IXL. Do yourself a favor, look elsewhere for work.
