Pros

Good benefits Interesting work 401k match

Cons

-Does not value employees. Recently laid off 200+ people with over 10 years at the company to keep new hires at cheaper prices. Made new hires knowing they would be letting go of people who had been there for years, to train those newer people then lay off the others. If you are interviewing be sure to ask about this. -Poor communication from HR/Higher-ups about new company policies, and constantly changing their stance on working from home -You will feel very out of place if you are not on one side of the political spectrum -Poor communication between teams -Ask them about their remote and travel policies -Using too many systems to house documents and processes, it's a mess of combining portions of multiple different company procedures into another

Ruined a great culture

Pros

Was great before the hostile takeover by Edgenuity. Great culture with mission minded people. Loved my job until the gestapo came to rule.

Cons

Horrible culture now. Edgenuity had reputation issues so the parent company’s CEO decided to use Imagine Learning’s good reputation and merge the company, but got rid of Imagine Learning’s leadership and let some old school miserable people from Edgenuity run the company who rule by fear and an overinflated sense of themselves. They lost some top notch people who truly cared about serving educators and students and are now left with people solely focused on dollars. They have ruined this good company. The CEO only cares about buying enough companies & merging them together to create the biggest EdTech company, while losing the quality Imagine Learning was previously known for.

Pros

Some good people still around--for now... everyone's leaving :( I do like all the PTO/holidays

Cons

Layoffs keep happening, leadership keeps acquiring more companies/products, and processes keep changing. There's never enough time to catch up on training new hires and current employees before processes change yet again. A lot of people are feeling overwhelmed, underpaid, and lost in the shuffle. Whenever people bring up issues in company meetings, leadership gives vague, roundabout answers.
