Pros

Good benefits Interesting work 401k match

Cons

-Does not value employees. Recently laid off 200+ people with over 10 years at the company to keep new hires at cheaper prices. Made new hires knowing they would be letting go of people who had been there for years, to train those newer people then lay off the others. If you are interviewing be sure to ask about this. -Poor communication from HR/Higher-ups about new company policies, and constantly changing their stance on working from home -You will feel very out of place if you are not on one side of the political spectrum -Poor communication between teams -Ask them about their remote and travel policies -Using too many systems to house documents and processes, it's a mess of combining portions of multiple different company procedures into another

Pros

Some good people still around--for now... everyone's leaving :( I do like all the PTO/holidays

Cons

Layoffs keep happening, leadership keeps acquiring more companies/products, and processes keep changing. There's never enough time to catch up on training new hires and current employees before processes change yet again. A lot of people are feeling overwhelmed, underpaid, and lost in the shuffle. Whenever people bring up issues in company meetings, leadership gives vague, roundabout answers.

Pros

Mostly nice and smart people to work with Good vibes in office

Cons

Leadership seemed to assume the money they got during covid would continue. They have no answers for economic changes. Tech companies are realizing this all over the country, and Imagine Learning is a smaller, less well run version of these large companies we see also laying people off. They overhired and overspent and now are wondering why things are as they are. The decisions make me think they want to do poorly, which is sad because the product and vibe is actually pretty cool. Bad leadership will always ruin a good place. Don't believe pay before job, they're not being truthful to you. The office serves no purpose except to not waste the lease they signed, yet leadership pretends it is so important. Whenever they visit they ignore everyone. People are not treated fairly, and the promise of being so wonderful but really being a poorly run business is a huge let down for employees. Morale is way down and people are jumping ship.
