Pros

Prior to November 2021, Imagine Learning was a wonderful place to work. IL was my first job outside the classroom and I absolutely loved the supportive and "family" feel atmosphere. It was customer driven and truly wanted to see all students succeed. As a CSM, I loved being able to address and support my customers' areas of need and then celebrate their success. We had supportive management and great people to work with. Again this was all before November/ December 2021

Cons

So many other reviews have shared this. After the full aquistion, everything fell a part. IL mass fired top performing AEs and broke apart very successful teams and partnerships. Demoted established & respected mangers and promoted people with little experience. Responsibilites we drastically changed, roles shifted, core values changed, and things quickly went from mission to money driven.

Thank you for your review. We’re grateful that you appreciated our company mission and the devoted coworkers you were able to work with. Imagine Learning leadership absolutely listens to various viewpoints and we value individuals who have a variety of insights that help our company move forward. We also understand that emotions run high when employees are let go. We’re grateful for all your work to help our programs get into the hands of educators and students and wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Does Not Value Employees

Pros

If you live away from an office you are allowed to work remote depending on your position. You may feel good about what you do by working in an education related field.

Cons

If you live near an office you are expected to come in. The company’s pay is not competitive at all for tech related roles. There was a whole year where raises and promotions were cancelled, the next year the company provided the minimum 3% raise and bonus. Good work is not recognized and bad work is rewarded as equally as good work leading to devaluing quality work and workers.
