Pros

Colleagues are nice and it was still 100% remote before I was laid off.

Cons

Yearly layoffs are typical. Upper management usually has no idea what is happening and how the departments should be working together. For a tech company that promotes the best in digital learning they are way behind in user interface and ease of use for the customer. And the backend work for the employees is so manual and tedious it slows everything down.

Pros

Some colleagues are kind and thoughtful

Cons

-Lied about recent layoffs and bonus potential -Mischaracterized what our team would be focusing on -Many colleagues are awkward and disgruntled over recent layoffs -They don't care about teachers, they care about building creepy software that tracks in classroom interactions -They lie and overstate the benefits they provide students -Many clients are unhappy -Expected to work insane hours -Senior leadership is immature and sensitive
