Pros

Good compensation package. Most people are friendly. Lots of promises. The CEO is a recognizable security figure. Very good corporate marketing.

Cons

Many promises, but none kept. Products are complicated compared to competition. Web and database products do not integrate despite an exciting story. If you're considering working for them, do your homework and get everything in writing and don't give up your good contacts. Very high turn over rate and unprofessional behavior in the field and at corporate events.

Pros

I consistently liked working with people in every group at Imperva, including Sales, Product Management, Corporate Marketing, and Channel Marketing. Each employee was supportive, helpful, responsive, and adapted well to an often high pressured, deadline-driven environment.

Cons

The work environment is relatively somber, despite having the monthly company lunch to celebrate birthdays and special occasions. There is a lot of work, divided among small groups of people, which can be the source of occasional tension and less downtime.

Pros

Industry Leader in their space.

Cons

Imperva is VERY cut throat and regularly terminates top performers for mysterious reasons. Imperva is also, very, very difficult to do business with from a customer's perspective. Succeeding in this very competitive space is tough enough without constantly having to replace departing team personnel and then playing catch-up to make the ground lost by the rediculous termination of top performing employees. It's always "one step forward and two steps back" and has been this way since 2003 / 2004.
