      Pros

      Improveit has huge growth goals, which means a lot of opportunity and potential for anyone who wants to grow their career here. I really enjoy working for a company that’s had such longevity in the home improvement space. When most small businesses in this industry go out of business in 5-10 years, knowing Improveit has been around for 35 years and is still expanding gives me confidence that they’ll be around for a long time. I also love that they offer a lifetime warranty to customers and really mean it – I’ve watched our service team make repairs and updates to projects that were installed decades ago!

      Cons

      Ambitious growth often means a non-stop pace and heavy workloads. Priorities shift quickly and it’s sometimes hard to know what the most important project is. With a distributed workforce and a lot of cooks in the kitchen on large growth projects, timelines are often delayed. A variety of technologies that don’t always talk to each other can create inefficiencies and sticking points.

      I love the core values this company stands for. Seeing so many people working together tirelessly and with such passion every day is contagious.

      Long hours but that comes with the industry not specific to IHR.

      There is a base salary of 500 a week.

      Cons

      You do not have a permit to solicit. They tell you the average person makes 65k but no one makes anything close to that. Commission is extremely hard to achieve.
