Expect to work weekends and holidays (except for Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas). Every other holiday is a working holiday and sometimes getting those days off for family vacations or events can sometimes be hard (ex. Labor Day, Memorial Day, MLK Day.. etc). Sometimes if you have closing shift, you will get off anywhere form 2am-2:30am. Also if work is slow, they may ask you to clock out so hours aren't guaranteed. You get paid good but you definitely work hard for your money. Don't expect to be standing around, you have to hustle or you won't do well at this job. Also, if you're a guy, by default you end up doing most of the grunt work. In example, taking out the trash, peeling potatoes and cleaning the grills. Due to this, sometimes it is harder for guys to be promoted to different higher associate levels (more pay) because their opportunities for training on new positions/levels are at times less convenient when they're needed for those grunt tasks.
