      The customer is ALWAYS right, so that entails coping with difficult customers in a fast-paced, often stressful environment to provide excellent customer service.

      Great Pay, Terrible Management, Outdated Systems

      Pros

      -Pay starts at $10.50, get a raise with each level increase -Chance to enter managment without any external schooling -Fast paced, rarely bored -Free food every work day -Company events are fun -Gift every Christmas

      Cons

      -Despite leveling up being fairly straight forward as far as skills that need to be learned, who they decide to train is largely based on favoritism -Company is basically a cult, management thinks that everything they are doing is the best possible way to do it so critiques largely go to the wayside -Arizona and cooking means you'll be sweating -If you don't absolutely love In-N-Out you might clash with the culture -You'll get in the habit of saying "Right on" for everything May be difficult for students because: -Outdated scheduling tools. They use email to send you your schedule and any schedule changes need to be relayed in person. This is because they refuse to use another company for help, i.e. no HotSchedules or anything streamlined like that -Scheduling can arrive late but they insist on a 2 week notice for requests off -Schedule never means anything, if your shift shows 5-9 the only thing that is certain is you start at 5.
