Pros

Working with children is great and rewarding The field as a whole has a lot to offer.

Cons

Staff treat you like they are inferior despite years of knowledge. Opportunity for more responsibilities but without increase in salary. Hours are not consistent. Can feel like babysitting often as they don’t prioritize clients to take breaks unless they are sick which in turn makes therapy sessions difficult and exhausting.

Pros

The pro would be the kids.

Cons

I would say the hours doesn't seem to match what the agreement you had when you got first got hired. The have a 30 hour guarantee but it seems like people who have 30 hr guarantee get hours more.

Pros

weekly pay, one on one with clients (more focus ), a good intent on the mental health and and physical health of employees, flexible, better pay than most behavioural specialists jobs, they pay for your registered behavioural technician certification

Cons

under contract, bad work environment especially if you’re at a location that’s just starting out, management will say one thing but then there passive aggressive actions saying another in regards to schedule changes, no support if you are pregnant you will be viewed as an inconvenience, benefits are nothing to rave about, if you finish the training process and get your certificate with them then you HAVE to pay back all the training, i can go on too but i quit so outta sight outta mind
