Thanks for the feedback! Good to hear our team, focus and bias toward openness are providing the challenge and culture you seek. I hope you are seeing progress from our career pathing work these past few months. I welcome any specific thoughts you have here. Same goes for busting through interdepartmental communication barriers. A top priority always.

Pros

Joining Grand Rounds has been one of the most rewarding moves of my career. Coming to work each day is a treat, thanks to an amazing team who are hired not only for talent and drive, but for cultural fit as well. The people here are energetic, funny, kind, empathetic, and fervent believers in the company's mission to serve patients better. I have yet to encounter an ounce of ego or cynicism in any of my colleagues. The work environment is open and comfortable, with flexibility that enables an excellent work-life balance. There also seems to be ample room to grow and develop your career path within the company, thanks to encouraging and supportive senior management. I completely love the work I do, and wonder often how I got so lucky.

Cons

We're in a growth spurt, and the rapid pace of change is sometimes difficult to maneuver. Decision-making seems to involve more stakeholders than necessary, but this may be an indicator that opinions are valued among all staff, and not just senior management.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm most glad you love your work and the team, and I bet it shows in all that you do. I agree the pace can be overwhelming at times -- taking time to refresh and recharge are key. Opinions and leading at all levels are indeed highly valued. We also need to stay nimble in our decision-making as we grow, for a bunch of reasons including doing right by the patient, quickly. When you see an opportunity for more agility, please call it out.

Pros

Never a dull day. Company is committed to finding, developing, and keeping great people as long-term employees. I love coming to work every day because I know my work directly focuses on fixing a big problem (healthcare inequalities) and I love my colleagues.

Cons

Fast paced; weeks and quarters fly by here. I have quick-moving and talented colleagues, which means everyone needs to bring their "A game" every day. Not a place for people looking for a "check in and check out" type of job.
