Pros

Great benefits. Great understanding of work/life balance. Health and wellness-focused. Education is important - both to further associates' college degrees, and within the job itself. Really great potential, but I don't think it is directed appropriately. Perfect location. Great community contributor.

Cons

I don't feel like management does much to prevent the employees from becoming complacent in their jobs. Some positions do not offer much room for growth, but that doesn't change the need for a job itself. With all of the changes happening within the organization, it's important to keep in mind those who have helped the changes come to fruition, and not let their needs and job goals fall off the map in favor of the almighty dollar.

Pros

The internal training and development department is wonderful. They offer a full curriculum of professional development courses and the management was wonderful about encouraging staff to attend based on their interests and personal professional goals.

Cons

There was a lot of upheaval and reorganization going on when I left.

Worst Job I Ever Had

Pros

Co-workers were nice, friendly and helpful. They really believe in the mission.

Cons

Sooooo political. Very tough culture to navigate. No work / life balance. Worked every Saturday for over a year and it really wasn't necessary. Manager was a bully. She would ease up to my employees to get information to use against me. Disrespectful culture. Tough to advance. Pay is not competitive - a clear indication of employee value.
