DO NOT WORK HERE! Worst company I have ever been a part of my 20 year career.

Pros

Benefits, nice office, truck, company credit card

Cons

Management needs to get a grip on reality. Goals are unrealistic and they don’t listen to anyone but themselves. It’s hard to do anything when you don’t listen to customers or employees. This company is a sinking ship throwing ideas at the wall and hoping the stick. I lost several important business relationships I had made in my 20 year career because of the mistakes and bad leadership of this company. They HR team doesn’t not care about the employees and despite the vibe they give off and the response they will submit with this post possibly they DO NOT listen to employees concerns. They have developed a sexy place to work that reminds me of Theranos. I am just waiting for the truth to come out and hope me and my coworkers can get out before the company harms agriculture any more. If you are considering this company, please don’t come work here. I very much regret my decision along with many other employees that are afraid to post on here because they feel it doesn’t help. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT COME to work for this company. They are not an AG company and have no experience or reason to be in this sector. They are a bunch of Ivy League brainiacs that love to throw around ideas that worked on Wall Street and how they should work in Ag. Looking for a job ASAP to get out of this unfortunate speed bump on my resume.

Pros

Good pay and benefits

Cons

This company is selling a complete scam product. They will pay you good money to leave your good paying job and promise their inside sales team will get you good leads but they don’t. They will give you 3 months to completely cold call your territory and if it’s not up to par they will fire you. Trust me do not join this fluke of a company

Hi there, and thanks for taking time to write a review. I'm sorry to hear that your experience at Indigo was not positive. While I respectfully disagree with your characterizations of one of our products, it is true that we are a performance-driven culture and have held the sales teams to high standards. I will pass your feedback on to the sales team, as we do want to hear all input. We never want employees to leave feeling negative and clearly we did not do our best here. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

Indigo has passionate people who genuinely care about changing the Ag industry. They offer fantastic benefits, free lunches, great pay, flexible work schedule (for most), gym reimbursements, and challenging work.

Cons

Indigo has moved entirely too fast for it's own good. People are overworked, tired, and on the verge of burnout. The free lunches that the company brings in are great, but then people end up eating at their desk and never get away for a break throughout the day. The company should focus more on mental health (not only physical health). There are many things in our work environment (not leaving for lunch, open office concept, shifting priorities, lack of structure and processes, high sense of urgency, etc.) that lead people to burnout. Also, the company has focused on too many offerings that a lot of people don't even know how to explain what Indigo does. Many times the products/services that we roll out aren't fully thought through (half-baked), which causes a LOT of hardship and frustrations down stream on the sales teams, processing teams, as well as the growers. The offices have gotten to a point where people are out for themselves and are scared of their jobs, which causes people and teams to not work well together.
