Pros

Benefits, salary, nice office, money.

Cons

Management, feedback, mission or lack of actual attention to posted mission, training, egos, unrealistic/unachievable goals. Work life balance!! Just because the CEO does not understand or believe in work life balance does not mean everyone needs to suffer.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We are listening and we hear you, and we always want to hear what we can do better. We work hard because our vision is big and there is a lot to accomplish. We do set ambitious goals, and the work required to achieve these goals means this may not be the right work environment for everyone. I respectfully disagree with your comments about lack of attention to our mission and that our CEO does not understand work life balance, but I respect that this is your experience. Thank you for taking the time to write in feedback - it is not always easy to read, but we appreciate it.

Smoke & mirrors

Pros

Ambitious mission that captures investors and recruits very effectively. I truly do hope they achieve an ounce of their goals as it would indeed better the world.

Cons

Very frail foundations for each business unit. Each offering sounds spot on at pitch level and you can't help but want each of them to win. Dig deeper and they crumble or are marketed with flawed data points. Extreme disconnect from corporate office to the field. Execution misteps were abundant. Watching consultants and Ivy league MBAs talk and drive strategy with such confidence/arrogance on agriculture to growers and agronomists was bizarre and painful to watch. I do hope it all improves as it has to.

Pros

Amazing teammates. Lots of cold salads.

Cons

Any decent leader would apologize for this crazy layoff. I was at indigo for longer than most, and because I thought we were doing good work. And this is how you treat us? Without any notice, we had to leave after meeting with our team leader and getting laid off out of the blue? We didn't even had time to send out thank you emails or exchange personal contact information, because our email/slack were deactivated immediately and we were immediately escorted out the door by yet another new hire from the “people team”.
