Zero review/evaluation process. There is no care given to employee goals and therefore, no gauge of results. There is ZERO real recognition of above and beyond work, and no raises. They don’t have a formal annual salary review process in place at all. There is zero diversity....not a single African American in the entire US contingency, and women are definitely not treated as equals. There is not a single woman in a leadership role in the US, and the ratio of men to women is severely skewed. The Israeli culture is very curt and insensitive, so if you don’t have thick skin, don’t even bother because even the Waltham office is completely dictated by the Israel headquarters, and there are a number of Israelis that work in the Waltham office. There are people in leadership positions that are just there because they worked with Moshe Yanai at EMC, and have no real expertise in what they are doing. If you are an actual expert in what you were hired to do, you have little chance of actually making an impact when you have leaders that focus on the wrong things and have a myopic view of what is truly important to growing the business.
