Pros

Quick hire and four week training process at nominal pay - just above minimum salary. The training is thorough and some of the trainers are well informed and good conveyors of information.

Cons

The hiring body promised the employees a base pay of $15 per hour plus commission once on the sales floor, which did not happen. The employees were persuaded not to take meal breaks or breaks of any kind; however, the worst part is that no matter how perfect one's attendance or level of professionalism the bottom line is always net sales regardless of how they are acquired. Fellow employees are good, but Human Resources is one of the worst I have ever encountered. New employees are required to purchase licenses and headsets, but the licenses are not given to the employee at the time of termination. Termination is largely based upon net sales and NOTHING more, which is most unfortunate for the company. Quality Assurance encumbers sales efforts because the company is essentially fraudulent.

Pros

They're hiring. Basically, the interviewer will scribble some notes on the back of your resume and then ask if you're interested.

Cons

I came in for an interview under the impression that I was being considered for an "Event Coordinator" position. The person I spoke to then tried convincing me that this job, the in-store selling of Satellite and cable packages at Menards, Best Buy and Charter, is just that. I never would have come in if I knew this. Also, the pay structure is all commission, so unless you think you can sell a quickly out dating service to people that don't even want to hear about it, you won't make any money.
